Updating Email Preferences

Let Us Know What To Email You About

Updating your contact preferences is one of those things that you need to know how to do. Sometimes you’ll be wanting all the emails we can give and sometimes you’ll want the bare minimum- whatever you select to be the absolute most important things to need to know. 

Thankfully, it’s super easy to chop and change as, and when, needed. You can get started by going into your settings, found by clicking the small cog icon in the bottom left of your screen and clicking ‘My Account’.

Once that’s open, click ‘Contact Preferences’. 

This will give you a list of email notification options which you can toggle on and off as needed. If you’re just getting started, all of the email preferences will currently be set to ‘on’ except the handy tip emails.

Clicking each option on or off will update your preferences automatically- no need to search for an update button! A confirmation message will appear in the top right corner of your screen too for extra peace of mind. 

Recent Logins

Having this on will send you an email every time your account is logged into for that extra security level.

When Someone Invites You To a Profile

This will send you an email whenever anyone invites you to a profile so you’ll never miss an invite!

Research Surveys

Keeping this on would be hugely appreciated by us at Different Breed and every other user of the website, only with your feedback can we continue to adapt and grow to be the best we can possibly be. We won't be sending you surveys everyday but if you could spare 5 minutes now and again we’ll be super grateful.

Helpful Tips and Tricks

You have to opt-in to receive emails from us which can help you to get the absolute most out of your account with Different Breed. There’s no requirement to opt-in, of course, but it is highly recommended and we promise not to spam your inbox!
